Metron Aviation, an Airbus subsidiary, is looking to expand its ranks to support the growing need of Air Traffic Management (ATM), product development and mission analysis.   • Responsible for the development of a thorough and intimate knowledge of US Government customers by establishing regular contacts, developing confident relationships throughout the customer organization, and identifying the key factors in the customer's decision-making process.
  • Identify new opportunities, qualify these opportunities and maintain good customer relations.
  • Develop product and customer marketing concepts, tactics and incentives to influence the customer's evaluation of Metron proposals. Anticipate risks and issues which may affect the Metron sales campaign and ensure proper and efficient involvement of Metron senior management if and when their contribution is necessary.
  • Work with Metron management to develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
  • Establish alliances with clients, professional organizations and industry and leverages those relationships to increase work programs impact.
  • Participate in and assist with the planning and strategic coordination of industry events such as demonstration tours and tradeshows, as well as specific customer conferences and gatherings (sponsorship agreements, invitation lists, facilities, etc.) where hospitality or presentations may be required.
  • Provide proposal support and preparation in response to new opportunities or task orders issued by the government.
  • Prepare regular reports and briefings as required by Metron management and the organization in general. Such reports should be concise, articulate and accurate representation of the commercial situation at the customer account.
  • Maintain and grow the customer relationship after the Agreement and the subsequent product delivery (ies), and throughout the life of the contract in general, thereby stimulating any potential new requirements for the benefit of Metron.



  • BS or equivalent with 14+ years' experience; or MS or equivalent with 12+ years of related experience; or PhD with 10+ years
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time nationally with some international travel if needed
  • Extensive experience in Air Traffic Management and Air Transportation Systems
  • Extensive experience and understanding of federal government contracting and contracting regulations and managing multiple and diverse programs
  • Knowledge of FAA programs and practices
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Effective oral and written communication to include the ability to conduct formal presentations to internal and external clients
  • Excellent presentation development and delivery
  • Strong ability to interface positively with internal and external customers to build strategic relationships
  • Able to formulate strategies and independently achieve the set goal
