Metron Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to provide technical assistance to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC) in Warrenton, VA.  The ATCSCC requires an on-site dedicated System Analyst to provide analytical support for Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS). The System Analyst will provide data on poor departure compliance or Ground Delay Program (GDP) delivery and will utilize an aviation tool set and various databases to compare daily performance to longer-term performance trends and provide a context for daily observations. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify problems and success particular to a given day's operations
• Departure compliance
• GDP delivery
• Airport efficiency
• Compare daily performance to longer-term performance trends, providing a context for daily operations
• Furnish a daily summary of delays, delivery and departure/arrival compliance for all GDPs from the previous day
• GDPs from the previous day. Provide a final consolidated severe weather impact report and evaluation
• Maintain a summary of departure compliance trends
• Determine the causes of questionable Traffic Management Initiatives (TMI) performance or excessive delays
• Provides Quality Assurance support services for TFMS systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, math and science degrees are required and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Aviation experience preferred
• Able to work with customers to ensure that current requirements are being met
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to be flexible required
• Candidate must be able to pass a background investigation and to obtain a Position of Public Trust designation
